True Blood : Why it’s Not That Good ?

The one thing that makes True Blood appealing is the characters. Human, vampire or something else, they’re simply lost. As lost as they can be. Vampires are depicted as slaves of their condition and humans as psycho-cartoons. We always enjoy to watch rats in the cage. Sort of.

So why True Blood could have been really really better ? Because of the vilains. Or better said, because of the absence of vilains. Real deadly ones I mean. The ones that ask you to become as vicious as they are to win them. Be a dragoon to kill the dragoon.

True Blood screen writers made them look mysterious and powerfull, for sure. But at the end of the day, they make them vanish in the air in a finger snap. Hop hop, Voilà ! Piece of cake.

Each time a hero is in danger at the end of the episode, you know screen writers are just kidding, no true damage will happen. Just a century old trick to make you eat episode after episode. Can you seriously be afraid from such lame demons ?

So what True Blood needs to become a f…ing great show ? Simple : True Blood !!
